Uhm I have homework...

Hmm okay so the question is do I think that homework is a good excuse for missing youth. Well I think there are many aspects to this.
First of all let's examine the time frame. The average high school teenager gets home around four. Youth starts at 7. Say you need an hour to do your homework (that's pretty average, if not above average). That's around five. And say dinner and getting ready take you another hour. That's six, giving you over an hour to work with.
Also, how much time do we really have to work on our homework? If you're a high school student, you probably have half an hour in study hall, plus the time at home mentioned above. And if you really have that much homework, you can always go to the school library in the morning to work on all of that homework or study.
Okay so that's the practical part of it all. But let's not forget the spiritual part of it. If you are that worn out and tired and stressed from the day, what better place to go than with other teenagers in God's presence?
I mean you could go on and on about this subject, but I think it's pretty basic. There is no excuse not to come, since the experience of the night would only help.
And if you're homeschooled... haha well good luck.

And since I am homeschooled, I dont have any excuse to miss church. Its not like I need one though, it's my favorite place.

Well I just graduated last year and not once did I ever miss youth group, church, or bible study due to homework. Honestly, I think that missing because of homework is one of the weakest excuses ever. Usually you have a ton of time to do homework and people just procrastinate. And you can probably just bs most of your homework and still get a good grade. Most high school homework is a joke anyways.
