This has been my school day lately:
1st hour: History. The only class I really have to put any effort into. If you think you have a strict teacher, wait until you meet this guy. He teaches out of his college books. We're learning about economics, all while planning a trip to London and then Sydney, then giving a 10min. presentation. However, a few people in that class have been venting to me about some of their issues, which gives me a chance to show them the love I found years ago.
2ND hour: English. Romeo and Juliet. Ugh. "But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun", was said a minute after they met. Not cool. As if that's what love is. I said that one day, and a girl asked me what I thought love really was. Interesting opportunity.
3rd hour: Biology. Dissecting sharks. Ew. (funny story, actually; I shopped off a piece of the brain and it went flying down a guy's shirt. =) I felt so bad though. But then I got some on my face, so it all worked out). We did just get finished with evolution though, and God really worked through that.
4Th Hour: Lunch. Found out an atheist sits at my table. Kind of intriguing, really.
5Th Hour: Math. Ok, this is ew-er than the shark. Hate it hate it hate it.
6Th Hour: Health. My teacher doesn't believe in evolution, so it's interesting to see the other students' reactions.
7Th Hour: Family and Consumer Science. We're learning about cooking, exercising, grooming, etc. I made a new friend in that class, so we'll see what happens next.
I know this is kind of a useless post, but I just think it's kind of cool how God can literally use every environment you're in to benefit his kingdom.
