Can I just point out...

Today has been great. I woke up feeling refreshed as a warm breeze wrapped around me, along with the realization that no driver's ed classes are to be held today; instead, I will be enjoying my first Bible Study in... well, far too long.
God's been speaking to me lately, and I am embracing it head on. I've already seen some results, and it hasn't even happened yet. God can amaze me sometimes.
So in biology we started evolution today. My teacher starts out telling us that, since it's an honor's class, we should be able to handle the depth of it, so he basically starts a debate involving everyone in the class about how (or if at all) religion should play an aspect of our discussion of evolution.
So everyone is going back and forth for about ten minutes, getting practically nowhere. Lucky, I had asked the Holy Spirit to guide me for this topic. I raised my hand, and said something along the lines of "Can I just point out that religion is based off of mostly faith, not fact? Science can only explain so far, but after that it's our belief's that take us to the finish line. No, I can't physically show you that God is real, but I have gone through personal experiences that prove God's existence to me; my dad was even healed. If you don't believe me, that's your choice, but that's my opinion".
Whoa. I couldn't believe I said that; even as I said it my brain was going "What are you doing!?". But guess what? It wasn't me saying it! The Holy Spirit sure knows how to work. My teacher points at me once I'm done (I'm practically shaking from the shock that I actually spoke =]) and says that that's the exact answer he was looking for, and that he was Catholic and felt the same way. Afterwards a few people even asked me about what happened with my dad's healing, and I got to share a big chunk of my testimony.
Yep, it's been a good day.

And on top of that, it is BEAUTIFUL outside =]
