Excited, Busy, Sad, Tired, Jittery...

So how's the month of February been going so far? Mine's been good... more busy than anything. And yesterday my phone would not turn on for anything, so that kinda stunk. I have to get the exact same phone, but at least it won't have buttons falling off and a big crack in the shape on an X on the screen =]
Yesterday night we had a Chili Cook off for the little missionettes (I think they're called something else now... idk) while my pastor talked about the different dominations. It was actually very interesting because some people at my table were getting very involved in it and it was fun to see their perspective. I also had a fun time hanging out and watching some guys try (and fail) to fix my phone =] Obviously I am kidding, they were actually helpful. Who would have thought?
At the end Pastor asked if anyone had any questions, and I raised my hand and asked if we were considered radical Christians. Only it didn't come out that way... it was more like "are we considered watical chwistians". Wow I felt dumb. Oh well. But then I found out that my little brother told my youth pastor that I was afraid of taking Driver's Ed, which is NOT true... well, maybe a little...
But the really excited news is the fact that I am going on a Youthworks missions trip!!! Yay!!! I went last year to Marvell Arkansas (a tiny, poor town you've never heard of and will never hear of again) with 4 guys and a girl. It was a blast. We painted houses, babysat kids, went to nursing homes... it was the best week of my life, and now we're doing it all over again in some tiny town in Oklahoma. Only this time it's going to be 18 kids going and 4 adults. I AM ULTRA EXCITED... and it's not for 5 1/2 more months... but the fundraising is always a blast too.
The only thing I regret about the missions trip last year is myself. While everyone was making new friendships, I was in my little pity-corner being too shy. I only made 2 new friends, out of the seventy-something that were there. And what's funny is that on the 7 hour drive over there, the guys told me I should try to be more outgoing on the trip and I replied "I'm just not an outgoing person". But not this year. I don't care if I embarrass myself; I want to get out there, meet new people, and have some fun.
