Have you ever been to Yahoo Answers? It's a pretty cool site, where you can ask just about anything and get the opinion of average, ordinary people, along with a few smart-mouth answers.
Although it's kind of cool, I rarely go on there. There are so many atheists and evolutionist and people that just hate life and everyone in it. It can get depressing, reading all of those evil questions and sarcastic answers.
But why should I just sit back and read them? I mean, why not do something about it? That's what I thought yesterday, so I logged in and started answering questions like "is there any proof of God" and "why don't some idiots believe in evolution" and others on that same level.
One question stood out to me, based on evolution, so I answered it with my best judgement. Less than an hour after answering, I got a message from the person telling me that I was a complete idiot, and this is wrong because of this, and I'm just brainwashed, yada yada yada. Well, I sent another email, telling her more and more about my faith. We've sent at leat 4 or 5 messages to each other. She has already claimed to be an athiest.
Please be in prayer for this girl, that God can use me to reach out to her. Also, there are multiple people on there just simply asking to be prayed for.
The world is such an evil, messed up place. They have this twisted idea of what the church is, when in all reality, we are the church.
If they shut down the churches,
Where would you go?
If they melted all the stained-glass windows
Replaced every sanctuary with a condo
Where would you go?
Where would you go?
We are a cathedral made of people
In a kingdom that the eye can't see
We're a house, we are the bride
Where God's Spirit lives inside
And nothing ever could stand against her
If they burned every Bible
What would you know?
If they tore your marked-up pages
How would you grow?
And declared your devotion to be criminal
What would you know?
What would you know?
When they throw you in prison
What will you do?
When they hate you for the things that you know are true
They can tear down this temple,
But they can't touch you.
We are our cathedral made of people
This is Cathedral Made of People by Downhere, and it really challenged my faith and made me think. How far am I willing to go? I once thought that if a guy came to school with a gun and told all christian's to stand up, that I would. And you know, maybe I would have. Maybe not. I don't know. But I just find it weird that I think of doing stuff like that, and not just standing infront of people and being like "hey... Jesus loves you". I know this doesn't really pertain to the above information, but think about it. How willing are you? Are we all living our lives as examples of God's love, giving everything to him?
It's a tough question.
"Woe to you when all men speak well of you,
For that is how their fathers treated
False prophets."

Hey, Autter. A while ago, you commented on my blog. I answered you that we didn't look at life the same way. I send you this in order to tell you that your blog, and a dear friend of mine, have helped me to find my way back into Jesus' arms. I just wanted to thank you.
Way to go Autumn! Keep up the good work, way to live your life with no regrets :)
