100% Chance of Rain

I know I've been blogging everyday lately, but that just shows you how much I enjoy doing it.
Have you ever taken time to just admire the simple things in life? No, seriously. I know everyone says that you should, but it's true. This world, as ugly as it's gotten, holds some amazing things.
Some of my favorite things can't be bought. A sunset on the beach, the sound of a guy's voice going extremely high pitched in a song, light rain, hundreds of stars overhead, the sound of a book turning, the smell of a baby's head, that amazing feeling you get when you're worshiping the creator of the universe, puppy breath, the feeling you get after accomplishing something that took a huge chunk out of your time, the look on my dog's face when I have food, the smell of cleanliness, a good night's rest; I could go on and on and on.
I try to be optimistic, but it's not always easy. My family says I have a pessimistic memory, which is probably true. I remember the bad stuff. Don't know why. But life is so wonderful and precious! Think of all of the wonderful things you could be doing right now! All of the opportunities we are exposed to!
Okay so you may be thinking, my life is horrible right now, I've got so much going on, there are twenty storms I'm caught in, etc. You know, the beginning of last summer my life wasn't enjoyable. I was completely blessed, but I wasn't where I was supposed to be, there were some health issues in my family, and I had some individual problems that I'd rather not go into right now (and no, mom, I'm not going to talk about them. It's all taken care of)
But God opened my eyes. He made all the storms pass. But you know what? There will be more. 100% forecast of storms in the future. But that's okay! All of the trials God puts me through will only make me stronger. I can rest assure that God will take care of everything (I must point out that I struggle w/ trusting God with everything. It's not easy, but after everything He's done in my life, I hav no reason to hold back).
So if you're going through a storm, just remember that it doesn't rain for nothing. God will bring you out of it, and once you are, you'll be stronger and have a new outlook on life.
